Natural Weed Killer

The warm weather this weekend was glorious! Spring really is here. I don’t know about you, but it made me want to spend every extra moment outside. As I was planning my garden for this summer I came across a recipe for “natural weed killer”. This seems like it would work great for the small weeds that come up between the pavers on the front walk. I’m going to try it…thought you might like to also.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 gallon white vinegar
  • juice of one lemon
  • 1 tablespoon dish soap

Combine in a jug for a good shake and storage. Add to a squirt bottle or garden sprayer. Spray the weeds. This solution works best on a sunny day. Stubborn, large weeds may need a second dose.

Good Luck!
